Kenjah David is a Paris-based singer-songwriter and guitarist, creating an organic world fusion sound blending chanson, ska, jazz, funk, Latin and Caribbean rhythms.
Shaped by an international artistic journey across the Indian Ocean, Africa, Asia and the Caribbean, his music reflects a multicultural background and a strong connection to live performance.
On stage, Kenjah David delivers warm, rhythmic and sincere shows, designed for cultural venues, festivals and live music spaces.

Kenjah David’s musical journey weaves through continents and cultures. Trained early in classical piano in Paris France, he soon embraced vocal improvisation and composition before venturing to Mauritius in 2001 to dive deep into Sega & Seggae rhythms.
His path then led across Africa—from Morocco and the Sahara to Senegal’s Casamance—where he mastered Djembe and enriched his sound. Between 2005 and 2015, Kenjah lived in Japan, shaping his music through dynamic performances and innovative productions, with four self-produced albums , plus notable work in commercials and video games as Super Mario DR, as well as honored Talk for TED-X talk. Along the way, his travels took him through India, Cambodia, Laos, & Thailand, broadening his musical horizons.
In 2015, his composition was honored at the UN General Assembly in New York for the International Volunteer Headquarters. Since then, Kenjah has been honored to represent French music in Vietnam in collaboration with the French Institute of Hanoi, performing at landmark events including a show for the Hanoi Opera House’s 110th anniversary & further, lead vocal of the salsa orchestra La Banda as well as new tracks as Latin Afrosia. In 2022, a residency in Martinique and the Dominican Republic deepened his Caribbean influences, expanding his mastery of Zouk, Calypso, and Salsa.
